No matter what rosin you prefer, rosin is mainly made of a solid form of resin from conifers which is soft and brittle. It also liquifies slightly under high temperature. Some rosins are specially formulated for hot and humid or cold and dry places; nonetheless, we should still always avoid shock and extreme temperatures when you store your rosin.
